Project 2026
Project 2026 is a passion project I have chosen to undertake over the coming year. At its heart, it is about celebrating women’s bodies exactly as they are, without pressure, comparison, or expectation. The aim is to build confidence, encourage self-acceptance, and create a space where women feel empowered and truly seen.
Over the next year, I will be hosting a series of photoshoots, each focused on authenticity and individuality. At the end of the project, there will be a final exhibition held to celebrate every woman who took part. Each participant will also receive three professional digital photographs free of charge as part of the experience.
A little about me: my name is Claire. I am recently divorced from a long-term marriage, and my own experiences with body image have shaped this project deeply. I first took part in a boudoir shoot as a wedding gift and later chose to do another during a period of major personal change, as a way to reconnect with myself and rebuild confidence. Like many women, I have spent much of my life struggling with how I see my body.
Many women become disconnected from their bodies through life experiences such as aging, pregnancy, illness, trauma, major life changes, or long periods of prioritizing others over themselves. Societal pressures, unrealistic beauty standards, and years of comparison can quietly erode confidence. The reason does not matter. What unites us is one shared objective: to celebrate women. Our bodies carry us through life. They are our vessels, and they deserve to be acknowledged, respected, and celebrated.
Sponsorship Opportunity: 2026 Women’s Body Celebration Project
I am currently seeking to partner with businesses and creative individuals, make up artists, journalist, who align with these values and would be interested in supporting the project. Sponsorship can take many forms, including (but not limited to):
· Contribution toward food and refreshments for participants on shoot days
· Support with venue hire for photoshoots or the final exhibition
· In-kind support or services that enhance the experience for the women involved
